Try to get your hands on the best heirloom tomatoes you can find as the salty tang of the lemon, capers and herbs brings out the natural sweetness of the tomatoes and creaminess of the mozzarella.
Ingredients
1 1/2 to 2 pounds heirloom tomatoes, cut into thick slices or chunks
8 oz. buffalo mozzarella, cut into thick slices or chunks
4 oz. Cali Kitchen Lemon, Capers &. Herbs Sauce
Fresh basil (optional)
Black pepper (optional)
Sea salt (optional)
Preparation
Step One
Combine the tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella in a medium-sized bowl or plate. Drizzle with the Cali Kitchen Lemon, Capers & Herbs Sauce
Step Two (optional)
Garnish with freshly-torn basil leaves, black pepper and a pinch of sea salt
