About the Recipe
This will quickly become one of your favorite salmon recipes because it's so easy and so flavorful. Use the Cali Kitchen Lemon, Caper & Herbs as a marinade BEFORE grilling or roasting, or spoon it over AFTER as a delicious, fresh relish... or both!
Ingredients
4 salmon filets
4 oz Cali Kitchen Lemon, Capers & Herbs Sauce
Extra virgin olive oil (optional)
Sea salt
Black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
If you want to use the Lemon, Capers & Herbs sauce as marinade, apply 2-3 tablespoons across all three salmon filets about an hour before cooking and keep refrigerated.
Step 2
Prepare the grill to medium heat or preheat the oven to 450ºF (220ºC).
Step 3
Place the salmon filets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about an inch between each one. Roast in the oven for about 10 minutes or grill over medium heat for 7-8 minutes until light pink and opaque throughout (but still rare inside -- the salmon will continue to keep cooking a little when you take it out of the heat).
Step 4
Spoon the remaining Cali Kitchen Lemon, Capers & Herbs sauce over the salmon filets when serving, about 1 tbsp per filet.
